Day 1 – Thursday, July 28, 2011 – 18:49 –

Almost finished with glass #1. It’s.. getting up to check bottle.. It is Sutter Home Family Vineyards (Since 1890 & Family Owned in the Napa Valley) California 2009 White Zinfandel The Original. It’s pink, it’s sweet.. takes sip.. it’s good. The bottle also tells me, “Sutter Home is the original White Zinfandel. First released over 30 years ago, this delightfully fruity and slightly sweet (told ya) wine continues to be one of America’s most popular wines. www.sutterhome.com “ Now it didn’t really tell me that, I’m just still capabale of reading one glass into my weekend. One of America’s..phone ringing.. unknown number.. ignore.. return to computer.. One of America’s most popular wines is in my belly!! ..phone makes noise, could it be a voicemail from unknown number?.. Turns out I did know them, just not very well. Must make reminder note to return call. HAH!!

Just poured glass #2. It is the remaining contents of the 2009 White Zin.

Almost finished with glass #2. Got another phone call. Time I really didn’t know the number. They also didn’t leave a message. So I looked em up.. Yeah,,, you can do that with a smartassphone. I loked em up and I it’s some “Worth Nicols Enterprises” Who the ef is that? Huh? Tell me!! They are out of Wills Point…. I don’t know anyone in Wills Point. No one likes me. Why would someone I Don’t’ even know be calling me? Jij> Tell me, Huh!?

Holy fuck!! I just spent like 3 minutes banging my fingers agains a wooden thing in my living room like they were drumsticks… ooo drum sticks.. I want fried chicken. I had to stop to tell the bolg abouit it. More to come…

Mr. Lake is coming in soon and this apartment looks like junk!!! Can't let him see it like that. I had a friend over today. She helped me with the dishes while I chiseled out some laundry then we went to one of my closets and she got a little richer in the clothes and purse and jewelry department!!

So what's left? More laundry, clean the car, bathrooms, vacuum, go through the other closet?

I can't wait to see him!

There's a strong chance that when/if I have children they will be ginger. I do not look forward to this. Please pray that I have children with blonde, brown, or black hair. I hate red hair. The only reason I can stand to be around my family members with red hair is because they are FAMILY! Please don't leave comments saying "I have red hair!!! Why don't you like me?!?!!!" I'm sorry... I don't know why I hate gingers... The fair skin, freckles, hue... It's a mystery!

For not blogging since May 1st!! Guys... please forgive me... I haven't been diligent and I apologize. Let's forgive and forget and pretend like the lapse never happened. OK!!!!

When last we heard from Heather.... if that is her real name, she stated she found a boy that liked her. Nay, twas not a boy, twas a MAN!! A very handsome man that tells her he misses her, and she misses him in return. They text everyday.

Ok, I'm through with the third person omniscient, or whatever that was up there. The ex is still driving me crazy!! ARGH!!! I'll tell the entire story.. you tell me what to do, please feel free to comment.

The date was November 15th, 2010. My ex was in a mood. He got pissed about something and threw his BRAND NEW SPRINT EVO to the floor. I sat, frozen, on the couch stunned for a matter of seconds before I went to the floor to retrieve the phone. (I thought it had hit a CAR PART he had laying in the floor and had most likely cracked.) As I was reaching for the phone he yanked it up by the charger cord that was still connected to it. I asked him if it was ok. He yelled "Yes, but it's got your KETCHUP on it" and then in a fit of rage, proceeded to hurl it towards my head. (I don't know if you've ever held an EVO but the EFFER is pretty substantial. And BTW the ketchup was his from a plate he had left in the floor earlier that day, I'm not a great housekeeper but I'm not gonna leave a plate of ketchup on the floor.)

So, the phone hits my head and he announces, with large eyes, that my forehead is "bleeding like a stuck pig". I begin to feel the gush of blood roll down my face and into my eye and see the blood dripping to the floor. As I cup my face and run towards the shower, he picks up whatever car part was in the floor and chucks it across the living room. It hits the wall and somehow doesn't leave a gaping hole through which one might see the neighbors in the apartment next door.

I get to the shower, turn on the water and stick my head under the flow. The blood is burning my eyes and won't stop. He follows me into the bathroom and I ask for a washcloth. He obliges and I hold pressure, turn off the water and turn around. He's so angry that he punches a hole in the drywall of the bathroom. (FYI - I ran past 3 other drywall holes on the way to the bathroom, all care of him.) My mouth drops and I ask "why did you do THAT?! You aren't EVEN HURT!! It's MY head that's gushing blood!" No answer (that I can remember).

He goes back into the living room and I stay in my bedroom. I pray that the neighbors heard something and call the cops. Nothing. I don't dare call them myself for fear that he'd catch me or they wouldn't do anything after they got there and then I'd be alone with him and be even more mad. He comes to the bedroom and apologizes... tells me I should go to the ER... that I need stitches....and that I shouldn't go to work tomorrow. I refuse, he goes back to the living room, and I continue to hold pressure for an hour or so. I take pictures of my bloody face & the actual point of impact. (I still have the bloody washcloth and a SCAR!)

The next morning, as I'm walking out the door, I ask "are you going to be gone when I get home" or maybe I say "I want you gone when I get back". I don't quite remember. After he finally leaves my apartment, he continues to text me and call me, leaving me voice and text messages about how sorry he is and that he loves me and he can't live without me..... BARF!

Then, the texts are threatening... then the texts stop... then they start again... then they stop... then they... do you get the picture. He has threatened me, my friend, my mom, and has threatened to show up at my work place. November - July I have had to deal with this. I filed a report with my local PD. The officer called him, told him what he was doing was illegal and to stop. What happened next? He kept doing it. I'm tired of it... I've blocked his numbers, but with Smartphones and their multitude of apps, he is able to dummy text me from other numbers. I can't change my number because he will just look me up and find my new one viz The Pampered Chef (and I'm not going to stop selling.. here's a commercial... www.pamperedchef.biz/hdarnold ). Any suggestions, ideas, comments. Go ahead and leave 'em!

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret... a boy likes me!!! Teehee! Nope, it's not Mr.Pink. We hung out one other time and then I never heard from him. Oh well, not his time I guess! I won't say anything bad about him cuz he was a nice guy. He just had the one flaw I saw of not telling a girl he's either not interested or not ready to continue to communicate.

This guy's name is.... Mr.Lake. Yeah, that'll do. We went to school together but never really knew each other. He works out of town but we text a lot. I would post my screenshots but.... hmmm... maybe I'll edit them and do it!

Best Weekend Ever?!

Perhaps, the best weekend ever! Friday I was off work. I filed my taxes and I'm getting the biggest return I've ever received. I bought baby clothes for my two cousins combined birthday parties. I mailed some stuff. I gave out TWO Pampered Chef catalogs (WAHOOO!!) I also went to The Tara Winery (on Facebook and @TARAWinery on Twitter and http://www.tarawinery.com/) and polished off my regular bottle'o'vino! :)

Saturday, my mom an I went to the cousins b-day party. Played games, had cake, visited with family. Had an all round good time! Mom and I drove around looking for property for sale for an entrepreneurial venture she has planned. We drove to Dallas and did some shopping, then we headed to my FAVORITE place to be in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! No... not The Tara Winery (that's my 2nd favorite place). We went to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington!!! It was Opening Night, we weren't able to get Opening Day tickets. They let us in around 5pm and we took part in some activities. Made bracelets, signed up for free stuff, got a free calender and a free bag, and pompoms!!! So much fun! Then we got Garlic Fries (YUMMMMMM!!!) and hotdogs and found our seats. We were three rows from the Ranger's bullpen and the guy sitting next to me said something about his friend seeing him on TV, so I had to be on TV if he was. It was a great game! We won... ALL THREE GAMES against Boston!! Can you hand me a broom, cuz I need to SWEEP!!!

Sunday, went to eat lunch with the grandparents and then vegged out on the couch til bedtime!

Hi ya'll! I'm feeling great today!! Did some things I've never done before this weekend and I had an awesome time doing them! ;)

Friday, I got to leave about 45 mins early from work (big whoop), napped for 1.5 hrs, showered and got all dolled up. I met my friend at The Tara Winery and she brought two friends and we had a blast! We drank 4 bottles of wine. I ordered some grilled shrimp and the things were HUGE!!! I plopped one down on a plate for my friend to try and it made a loud thump! The chef came by my table and gave me a big smooch and dropped off a whole grilled fish, GRATIS! He was tasty and we decided to give him a name, Sammy Davis Grouper. I think it was sea bass but grouper sounded better! We left there and went to a bar I'd never been to and we closed that place down!! Met a guy... he got my number...

Saturday, I got a spray tan and I look like a goddess!! We decided to go back to the winery and it was a good thing because we got to enjoy the Super Moon! It was gorgeous. The guy I met the night before was there too... he enjoyed himself... ;)

Sunday, I got a pedicure and hung out!

Heather is super tired. I worked WAY TOO MUCH yesterday. I clocked in from 7a-330p for my regular work day. I had to clock back in from 5p-130a for my oncall cases! I feel like I'm almost a zombie! The only thing that's keeping me holding on is WTF tonight. I just hope I can get out of this place soon enough to go home, take a nap, and shower!

No, not the movie... Friday night I posted about going to bed early... what I didn't tell you was, while walking around the casino floor searching for two members of my party I awkwardly ran into somebody. Who's this somebody you ask? None other than the first male to show interest in me since splitting with my ex. Why was it awkward? He made me believe that he really wanted to go on a date with me then cancelled two days before. Hadn't heard from him since... Can you say jerk? Because I certainly can! Here's what happened:

Me: *walking the floor, I notice a familiar face and cock my head to the side questioningly*

Him: *sees me staring and furrows brow, thinking* Heather, right?

Me: Yeah...

Him: *to male friend next to him at blackjack table* This is Heather. We went to school together. How are you doing? Playing the slots?

Me: *shake friends hand* Yeah... pretty even, but... I like craps.

The Friend: I love craps.

Me: Nice to see ya. *walked away*.... *MORTIFIED*

Please tell me it gets better!? One funny thing, Friday night it felt like a guy was following me around the casino and then into the restaurant we ate at. And when I say "felt like", the only thing he didn't do was talk to me or touch me.. He was everywhere I looked. Then, Saturday, when I was cashing out my mom said "That curly-headed boy was checking you out." I knew of said curly-headed boy, had noticed him several times on the floor. Poor curly-headed boy...

Last night was terrible! I had to work until 2130, then I finally got to leave the hospital and get some dinner! What A Burger!! Yummy!! While I was waiting in line to order in the drive-thru my phone dinged so I checked my Facebook app. Someone had requested to be my friend. Who might you ask? My ex's new girl! Why am I being asked to be her friend?!?! I proceeded to look at her profile (it wasn't private, and she DID ask me to be her friend, so don't judge me...) and saw all the posts between the two of them. I'm happy he's not in my life anymore and I feel bad for her not knowing the real him yet but I'm not about to friend her and let her know. Who knows? Maybe she's the best person for him. Maybe she's the person that will get his life on track for him.

Then I get a phone call as I'm driving out of the drive-thru. It's him. He just chuckled when I asked why I was being friended by her. His other response was, "I told her to ask you." He proceeded to ask uncomfortable questions while I tried to keep the conversation light and airy. "Do you have a boyfriend?" "No." "Why not?" "I don't want or need one." "Oh." "Have you had sex?" "Uh..... no." "You haven't had sex since we've been apart?" Uhhhh.... no. It's not as important to me as it is to SOME PEOPLE."

I was finally able to get off the phone. :)

Someone made it very clear to me that I need to post regularly. His name is James. James wears a military uniform (Army, I believe) in his blog profile picture. I would do anything for a service man or woman. James gets his wish! Let's learn more about me! It's a weird concept... writing about yourself... seems kind of self-absorbed... Maybe it won't only be about me! We will just have to wait and see!

Today's events - Work! Work! Work! Today's assignment, Endoscopy!!! Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, drying, and setting up EGD and Colon scopes for procedures. I'll be doing this until 1530. I work in the health care field and we use military time. If you can't read it, I suggest you learn! After work, I'm going to check out a house in the town I work in (more on that later), then I'll visit with my grandmother and dad. They live less than 5 miles from my apartment and I get mail there. Then I'll probably have some din-din at home while watching DVR'd shows on my comfy couch. I WILL NOT, I repeat, WILL NOT fast forward through the commercials. I need to do some cleaning and laundry. Commercials will help with that. If you comment on this asking if I fast-forwarded (is that a word?) I better give you the answer NO!!!

Then, time for a shower and bed!

Oh dear!! Day 39!! Total pounds lost: 24.5 Tomorrow is my last shot for 6 weeks or so! Hope I do well in my maintenance period. Thursday I will do three days of the diet without the shots... like when I was on my period, only it's not for that reason. It's the end!! Had a terrible dream. I woke myself up with the noises I was making. In the dream, Kay, Sara, and I had to see the HR person to get our jobs for our new insurance. The HR man was one of the TECH TALK guys from that cell phone ad. Sara and I went together and Kay walked in while we were there. Kay seemed to be the only one that actually knew what she was doing before she came in. Sara and I are sitting in these chairs and asking WHY we have to work more AND when we aren't even at work. Like being a Pampered Chef Consultant without getting any money for it... it just pays for your work insurance, is how it was explained to us. So there's this rat costume and I think it's for Sara to wear in her outside job but IT'S NOT!! It's for me!! I BLOW UP ON THIS PAKISTANI MAN!!! I go crazy!! Bat shit crazy!!! I take out a stanley knife (box cutter) and want to stab the rat costume, but I don't because I'm afraid I'll have to pay for it if I do. I put it on and tell him "Look it's doesn't even fit!!!" His secretary is all like "No, it looks great on you." THANKS ALOT BITCH!!! Sara is laughing her ASS off, cuz I was SURE the rat costume was for her. She just gets some papers and Kay gets catalogs or magazines. I get a rat costume and FRUIT!!! WHO BUYS FRUIT FROM SOMEONE WEARING A RAT COSTUME!?!?!?!?!?!

HCG Diet - Day 31

Today is officially one full month on the diet and I have lost a total of 20.3 lbs & a total of 33.75 inches. I measured on Day 29 and my total inches lost had risen from last weeks measurements by half!! So I lost 6.5" on Feb.20.

I plan on going to the gym and doing my walking, pilates, sauna routine only one day a week on the diet. When I'm off the diet and in the maintainence period of 6 weeks before I can start another round I will increase my food intake but work out every night I am able to, meaning any night I'm not on call at the hospital. That is usually only one night a week and one weekend a month. I really need to tone up... this skin has to go somewhere.

I am very pleased that I will be ending my Las Vegas trip by restarting the program!! We leave for Las Vegas Sunday April 18th and leave Vegas Sat. April 24th and I plan on mixing & gorging Sunday morning!! Yeah!!! and I'm off work Monday the 26th so I don't have to worry about working the gorged stuff off that day!! And I'm off Tuesday the 27th so I can started the 500 calories on a day off!! YAY!!!! That's not WHY I'm off, it's just exciting to me that it worked out that way!!

HCG Diet - Day 21

It's Day 21 and I have lost a total of 17.3 lbs. Tomorrow I will do my measurements again! I started my period on Day 18 and cheated slightly on Day 19. I didn't eat alot but I didn't eat what the diet calls for. I had a serving of two Pampered Chef recipes at our meeting. This included Chipotle Chili Conbread Bake and Quick and Easy Brownies ( I think that was the name... heck, I made it and I don't remember the name... but it was good!!) I am on call this weekend but I've got all my meals planned out. All I need to do is go to the store and get me a bushel of apples!! :) I'm having baked seasoned chicken breasts, pan-fried seasoned lean hamburger meat patties, and grilled carne asada ALL WEEKEND LONG!!

Day 1: 220 (Gorge Day 1)

Day 2: 223.5 (Gorge Day 2)

Day 3: 225.5

Day 4: 223.5          2 lb

Day 5: 218.4          5.1 lb loss

Day 6: 218.6          2 oz gain

Day 15 and I've lost a total of 16.1 lbs. This morning I did my measurements. I've lost 14.5" since last Saturday and 23.75" total. I'm hanging out at my mom's house today and she just opened a box of Pampered Chef beer bread mix. I had to make a face... that stuff is so good!! I might have a crumb of it if i'm around when it's done. OMG!!! She just put half a stick of butter into the microwave to melt. I might die!! LOL!!

I have lost 10.3lbs and I've lost a total of 9.25"!! The most inches lost was 3" at my "waist". YAY!!! :o)

The Pampered Chef party was a success. She had $811.55 in commisionable sales! I didn't eat the cake or the ice cream!! I haven't had as much water as I did yesterday. I need to get on the ball! I had carne asada for lunch and I think I will have baked chicken for dinner.

It's day 7 and I'm fine. Couple of bruises richer though. I have lost 8.3 lbs in all!! Tomorrow I will remeasure myself to see if I've lost any inches. I also have a Pampered Chef party to do so it's going to be a big day to try and not go crazy. Don't eat the cake... just drink the water! :)

I have been on the HCG diet for six days. I have lost 6.2lbs so far. I find it hard to eat the vegetables. I like steamed broccoli and sauted onions, both with LOTS of SALT! :-)

So, I hit my head Sunday and got a black right eye by Monday morning. Then, Wednesday night right before I went to bed my left eye felt funny, like i was getting a sty,but I just fell asleep. When I woke up Thursday morning it was almost swollen shut. ???? How/Why???!?!?!!! I have NO clue!!!! Then, I got rammed in the heel by a cart and got skinned up pretty badly. Hopefully, the most exciting thing tomorrow will be payday!!!
